Based in Michigan, ND, we're an innovative John Deere dealership, currently in our third generation of family ownership. Our core values are the same as they were in 1963. We believe "people buy from people" and we value our customer, employee and supplier relationships above all else.


With locations in Michigan, Devils Lake, Hampden and Carrington, ND, we're proud to serve customers in our local communities and throughout the region.

OUR HISTORY


1963: James T. "Jim" Vasichek and Albert Kouba purchased the John Deere Dealership in Michigan, ND from the Lamb Brothers and renamed the business Michigan Implement.

1969: Vasichek bought out his partner and the business moved from downtown to its current location on US Highway 2 on the southwest corner of Michigan.

1983: James A. "Jay" Vasichek enters the business after graduating from NDSU and working at Tractor & Equipment Company in Williston, ND.


1995: James T. retires and Jay purchases the business from his father.

2006: James R. "Jim" Vasichek enters the business after graduating from UND and working at Choice Financial Group in Grafton, ND.

2010: Michigan Implement purchases Devils Lake Equipment Company in Devils Lake, ND and Lunde Implement Co in Hampden, ND. The business is renamed "Leading Edge Equipment" to reflect the transition to having multiple locations.

2012: Leading Edge Equipment purchases Rosenau Equipment in Carrington, ND. This location was also renamed Leading Edge Equipment.


2018: James R. "Jim" purchases the business from his father, Jay.
